Finally the last day arrived; a day earlier than planned. So I was in high spirit and looking to do what I thought was a shorter distance compared to the preceeding 5 days.

Off I went, leaving Alness behind, I moved at a very good pace for the first 15miles, then the downward spiral started. (more…)

So I woke up with the dodgy stomach rumbling, had a tiny vegetarian breaksfast and head off. My target for the day was 70milea going from Camelford in Cornwall to Tiverton in Devon.

Starting 9am, I was able to get into Okehampton by12.45pm but feeling terrible. The vomiting bug (more…)

Thank you all, I raised £120 on the forst day. Very inspiring.

It was a turtous day. The hills were just breathtaking both to climb and to go down. At 43 miles, it felt like nothing; and at 65. But the real demand started after that.

Through the coast cities of Cornwall we ploughed on and on through lonely countryside roads and motorways. Gladly, it never felt dangerous at any point apart from the steeps.
