In August, I will cycle 1000 miles from the south tip of England (Lands End) to the north tip if Scotland (John O’Groats) to help raise fund for the British School of Osteopathy (BSO).

Although I had planned to leave Wigan earlier than most previous days at 9:30am, I didnt make it until 10am. And when I finally did leave, I discovered a puncture 200meters into it.

It was raining, so I pulled in to a Bus Stop shed to change the inner tube. A man cyclist appeared and asked if I was ok. It was swift. I had not seen him although he came from the direction I was going. He said he’d seen me
